COURSE DESCRIPTION: Strangulation is one of the most lethal forms of domestic violence where unconsciousness may occur within seconds and death within minutes. In this course we will discuss the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), domestic violence, national and state statistics, signs and symptoms of strangulation, and interviewing and investigating strangulation.
